Instant noodle got wax ??

This is the email from my friend to instant noodle company:
helo, I received the email below and i found that the information is contradicting with what you have on the back of the noodle's packet.

As a loyal fan of the instant noodle, can u please let me know if the below is true? thanks.

Normally, we cook the instant noodles by put ting the noodles into a pot
with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for 3 mins.
This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles.

By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder,
normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structures of the MSG
causing it to be toxic. The other thing that you may or may not realized is
that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days
for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.

And Below are the REPLY from instant noodle company
Thank you for contacting thus giving us an opportunity to clarify your doubts over our Noodles.

Wax are not used in instant noodle manufacturing at all. There is no basis of claims that wax are coated onto noodles.

In Malaysia, instant noodle is prepared fresh everyday from high-quality refined wheat flour. Wheat flour is supplied and replenished daily by reputable flour supplier ( 7days/week) to the factory . The flour is wetted to form a dough sheet, which is further cut into noodle strands, folded into shape before steaming, frying, cooling and final packing. At every stage of the noodle production, stringent quality checked is mandated to guarantee SAFETY and QUALITY of the highest order is adhered to.

The frying oil used for giving noodle shelf-stability and unique fried aroma is derived from palm olein (light fraction of palm oil) and stabilized with permitted antioxidants. Palm oil is a form of edible vegetable oil obtained from the fruit of the oil palm tree, which is widely grown in both Malaysia and Indonesia.

The health benefits of Palm olein has been well-studied and documented by eminent fat and oil opinion leaders/scientists. Palm olein includes all the goodness of Vitamin E and is packed with natural antioxidants, free from unhealthy cholesterol and Trans Fatty Acids and no artificial additives or preservatives.

Palm oil contained about 10% linoleic acid, which is an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid. Linoleic acid is one of the two essential fatty acids that humans require. Palm oil also contains small amounts of squalene (possible cholesterol lowering and anti-cancer properties) and ubiquinone (energy booster).

Reasons for choosing palm oil:
* Palm oil is an excellent dietary energy source.
* Palm oil is a very rich source of Vitamin A and E.
* Palm oil is a stable oil in high temperatures (good for frying).
* Palm oil is a cheap vegetable oil (due to the oil palm's high productivity).

We has very stringent requirements for the oil used in noodle frying. The oil must be food-grade, physically refined, bleached and deodorized, free from mineral oil, foreign matter, toxic or noxious substances and adulterations. We source our palm oil from Malaysia and regularly monitor the levels of heavy metals and pesticides to ensure that the oil meets the local legislation. All delivered palm oil are sampled to ensure that their freshness index (appearance, color, taste, peroxide value, etc.) meets our high standards.

To put your mind further at ease, we also do not recycle the oil during the noodle production as our manufacturing facility is state-of-the-art. The fried noodles are subjected to regular quality checks prior to shipping out of the factory. The logistics employed by us is first-rate, to ensure that noodles are delivered fresh to the shelves of Hypermarts/Supermarts/Traditional Grocer/Provisional Stores/Convenience outlets across the nation (from East to West) .

As for the preparation method, the molecular structure of the MSG will not change with the short boiling time. Preparation method shown on the label is also safe.

In closing, consumers of noodle can be assured by the Seal of Quality and Trust. We guarantee that every pack of noodle made by us is safe to consume when prepared according to the instructions on the package.

Our noodles also meet Malaysia's SIRIM criteria of instant noodle, delivering "source of" protein in every pack we sell."

Best regards and we look forward to your continuing support.
